The Giggles
Alley and Claire were desperately trying to avoid the tickle monster - it was difficult, but somehow they survived.
Alley proved she was a big girl this week. She went to the dentist for the first time and did really well - I was pleasantly surprised. They counted her teeth - 20 - cleaned them and then checked for cavities - 0.
Later in the week, she went to the pediatrician for her 3 yr old check up. They checked her sight and hearing and passed with flying colors. They don't however check for selective hearing - which Alley has already developed - since she can tune you out when watching a cartoon but when you are in the car - she hears every little word you said and then repeats it.
She was 3 ft tall and 30 lbs. I think the pediatrician was trying to be nice - saying she is an average 3 yr old - but truthfully she is on the shorter, skinny side. He predicted that she will be 5'4" or 5'5" at he most - so petite.
She continues to be VERY verbal. She seemed to enjoy the flashcards that the pediatrician tested her with and wanted to play cards when we got home.
