Spring has sprung

Alley and Claire are quite excited about the watercans they got from Grandma Erlys. The were busy watering the grass, bushes, and driveway. We also planted a few flower seeds in little pots designed for kids. I am glad it was only six little pots - because Alley couldn't hold her attention for longer than that and Claire really couldn't. Rob has prepared an area in our backyard to plant a garden for the kids. I have a feeling that Rob and I may be doing most of the work. But hopefully they will get excited when they start to see things popping up.


Alley is also taking advantage of the weather and taking her tricycle everywhere. Tonight she asked on the way home if we all wanted to go to the park and she would take her tricycle - Rob and I are getting a little tired of the park since we have been there everyday for the last few weeks. So we said, no why don't we start planting the garden. Alley responded by saying "Let's think about this, OK?"

She really wants to go to the park because she has a new little boyfriend Luke, the neighbor boy. He is an older man at 4 1/2 and dazzled her with his ability to roll down a hill. She gave him a flower and he asked where her room was - it is getting serious.
