"Can we take another airplane soon?"

Alley now seems obsessed with airplanes after our trip to South Carolina for Chelsea's high school graduation. She has been on a plane before on a previous trip to S.C. but apparently doesn't remember it.

She was so excited that she didn't go pee before we left for the airport at 12:30. She also refused to go at the airport because the toilets were too loud. She then started complaining that her stomach hurt and her back hurt - and we knew she just had to go to the bathroom. Well- she didn't until 8pm at night - because the airplane bathrooms were too "scary". She of course was very unhappy and cried for a good hour on the plane down to Atlanta.

Chelsea graduating from high school. She is going to a local college to study Sports Medicine and play Lacrosse. Alley and Claire skipped out on the ceremony - they never could have sat through it all.

"Where's Alley?"

"There she is!" - that still entertains her somehow.

Alley loved to dance at Chelsea's graduation party. Her dancing mostly consisted of running around after other kids.

Grandpa Alley and Uncle Gregg did not partake in the dancing at the party.

Alley - always the boss - telling us to "stop" and "go" on the walk back from viewing the falls.

At the World of Energy - not far from Greenville -that has a hydroelectric damn and nuclear power plant.

Yes - that is a seven person bike. Gregg is an avid biker and found this shop that rents out this crazy bike. Gregg was the only one that steers but the rest of us - were the peddle power. We got quite the looks from people on the street.

Alley had an adventure of her own while we were biking. She was feeding the ducks on the Reedy river with Sonya when they slipped and fell in the river. The river wasn't deep - but they both got soaked and scraped up. It mostly scared both of them. I was thankful that Sonya was there to help her and that they were not hurt any worse.

Alley was an enthusiastic supporter of the Greenville Zoo.

It was a great trip- minus the first plane trip down and the lack of naps for Alley and Claire on most days. She continues to talk about uncle Gregg's cat Widget and does not understand why we can't take another airplane trip tomorrow. Like for example, tonight we went to the Splashpad water park and then had ice cream - Rob asked could you imagine a more fun night? - Alley said "I could - we could take an airplane somewhere." Sorry Alley - airplane rides take a lot of money - but Alley replied - "We can just go to the store and get more money." If it was only that simple.
