The newest addition to the Grommesh Family

Alley was the youngest family member at this past weekend's Grommesh Family Reunion. Many pictures were taken and we were able to meet up with many family members that we had not seen in some time.

Rob's sister Liz and her husband Dan were not in this picture - but if you look close both Megan and Breanna are present.

Feet are Neat

Alley discovered her feet this week and grabs them every chance she gets.

Great- Grandparents Harold and Gerry - Easter 2006

Alley got to meet her great- grandparents at Easter. Harold held her for a little while, then Alley did what babies do - she made a mess in her pants and we rescued Harold and Alley from the situation.

Sadly, Harold passed away today and Rob is sad that she'll never get to know his grandpa.

Her best friend

Alley really has fallen in love with the dog. She smiles and laughs when the dog walks by or is near her. She tries to pet him, but often just grabs his ear. Rumsfeld, on the other hand, is indifferent to her and sometimes a little jealous. He is pretty patient though when she does get a fist full of fur. Someday he'll find her his best friend, as she unintentionally and probably intentionally drops him food. I don't have any pictures with them together, as our dog seems to hate getting his picture taken and runs when the camera comes out. I am hoping to get a recording of her laugh though and post it.

On her way to crawling

Although she had kind-of been rolling over for awhile - she really realized she could roll from her back to her stomach on the 4th of July. She kept doing it over and over again and then get mad because she couldn't roll back.

By the way she slept through the fireworks, even though the city firworks are literally in our back yard.

Alley has a blog

We have been bad about getting pictures of Alley out - so I thought a blog would be the easiest way. She has grown up so much in the short 4 months that she has been on this planet. We really enjoy seeing her change and learn everyday.
