Star swimmer in the making

Alley was swimming all by herself - with the help of an innertube and an occasionally the water noodle - but she did swim all by herself this weekend.

After we met in the Alexandria - Grandpa Alley treated us to a weekend of swimming at the Country Inn and a picnic lunch including some soccer playing.

It was a crazy time at the Sis family reunion - they make men wear chicken hats and have daushands that are always ready to play ball. Of course Alley had a fun time.

Cousin Megan

Alley was very excited to have her cousins Megan and Breanna, along with Aunt Liz and Great aunt Margaret, Grandma Helen and Grandpa Charlie a few weeks ago. We went "camping" one night and had roasted marshmallows by the fire pit. The next day the girls went to the Como zoo and saw the butterfly exhibit. Alley really looks up to her cousin Megan and Megan is sweet enough to not be bothered by her little shadow.

The bad dream

outside and worse of all it was raining meatballs.
