WEEKEND WITH GRANDMA

Grandma Helen spent the weekend helping dad watch his two girls while mom went on a shopping spree with her friends.

Grandma and I took the girls to the zoo. Alley really enjoyed herself. She really liked the bears

Until this bear got a little to close to the glass and Alley had to make a run for Grandma

Despite being too loud she really enjoyed the dolphin show as well

Digging Dirt

Alley, Claire and I went to visit grandpa at his lake place for Father's day. Grandpa got her a bucket and shovel to "dig dirt" with. It was a little cool at first - so she just attempted to make sand castles on the beach. It got a little warmer so she got her swim suit/wet suit on and ventured into the water.

Grandpa and I had talked up going on his new boat and going fishing. She seemed really excited about - but then unfortunately got scared once we were in motion. She seemed to like grandpa's boat last year - but she appears to be at the stage that she gets scared easy.

"I want to go slide"

Alley loves to go to the park no matter where we are. On Memorial day weekend we went to Elephant park in Fargo and at home she's has 3 playground sets with in walking distance. This makes going for a walk a little difficult, because Alley insists on stopping to slide.

Two Ponies

Alley and her cousin Megan got pigtails ( or as Alley calls it Two Ponies) in their hair over Memorial Day weekend.
