1st Grade classroom

Alley's new teacher this year Miss Deming. Alley's first opinion is she is nice and funny.

They have new free breakfast for all kids this year. They are trying to promote a good start to the day. I was surprised to see French toast - but Alley said there was no syrup - complaining " you can't eat French toast without syrup!"

We later were visiting Claire's classroom and saw Alley skipping in the hallway - fortunately she quickly warmed up to school.

Excited to go to first grade?

Claire looks more excited than Alley for her first day of 1st Grade at Aquila. Claire doesn't start Kindergarten until Thursday and Alley was jealous Claire got to stay home.
