Alley's day care provider Shannon turned us on to Alley's new favorite song The Tantrum Song by the Spin Doctors or as Alley calls it No No NO

Extreme Makeover

Well not so extreme - but Alley did get her first professional haircut. It seems to have revived her little curls.

Papa

Alley loves Papa! She really loves all of her Papas - Papa Charlie, Papa Alley, and Papa Virgil. She seems to be always asking about Papa and looks to the door to see if he is coming through -we aren't sure which one she is talking about though???

We decided to make some flashcards of her family and teach her everyone's names. She apparently does this at daycare for different things and they say she is a whiz at memorizing flashcards.

Holidazzle parade

The whole crew (all of Alley's grandparents, cousins, and aunts and uncles) went to the Holidazzle parade in downtown Minneapolis on Thanksgiving weekend. It was kind-of cold so we watched the parade from the skyway. It was a popular event though, so even though we came an hour early we didn't get one of the skyways directing above the street where the parade was, but one of the cross streets.

Nutcracker

The Grommesh gang went to the Dowtown Macy's 8th floor display which this year featured the Nutcracker.

Cousin Megan's Birthday

Alley's cousin turned 8 on Thanksgiving day. Alley has already figured out that birthdays mean CAKE. She had a fun weekend with her cousins from Fargo. Alley even had a sleepover one night with Breanna, who fell asleep in her bed.
