Mmm Beans

Alley really likes the finger foods and insists on feeding herself - no matter how messy it gets.

She has learned a few new words lately - especially "UH-OH". She is pretty proud of herself when she stands by herself - but still hasn't taken that first step.

Alley had cute curls the day we took this picture. Her hair is getting shaggy and might need her first haircut.

She had her one year old check up and weighed in at 19lbs. She is just a little peanut - after being born such a big baby. She is still too small to turn around her car seat - hopefully it won't be too long.

Alley seemed to enjoy having her grandparents take care of her while we were on vacation. She dose have molars coming in though -so was a little cranky at times apparently. She seemed to miss us and we certainly missed her. She was pretty happy when we got home with a big smile and then started to cry.
