Underwater World

Alley had a great time at underwater world. Here she is learning about
the crab, she did not want to touch it.

Sledding

A Christmas snow storm kept us from going to grandma's house, but
weade the best of it by sleding in the back yard.

Christmas Breakfast

Nothing better than Mickey Mouse pancakes with wip cream and chocolate
chips.

Decorating the tree

Alley has been very excited to decorate the tree this year. We decided to get a real tree - which we have never had since we have been married. Alley picked out the ornaments and garland and Rob picked up some new LED lights.

Claire also thought the ornaments were neat, more to play with than decorate.

Yeah Santa :/

What a beautiful family picture - at least we were hoping for that. Alley seemed excited to meet Santa - but then wouldn't look at him and covered her face with her hair. Claire was ambivalent and seemed like she would be rather taking a nap. Oh well.

Counting the days down to Christmas

Alley has been carefully counting the days down to Christmas - with the help of a cool quilted advent calendar that Grandma Erlys made. Of course each day, Claire and her get a Starburst out of the little pockets to get them excited about the big day.
